the brief: create an emphatic and dynamic brand identity for fashion photography and cultural collective, Noir lens studios
The design: inspired by fashion magazines, and photography, as well as fine arts and gallery/creative spaces, the branding seeks to be unique, layered and bold. a monogram logo connects to major photographic brands, while the more stylized long-form logo relates to magazine culture. the color palette emphasizes photographic hues, starting with black and white film and ending with a rich blue and contrasting red.

the brief: manage the social media page of noir lens studios, create engaging posts that align with company branding. advertize editorial photography services while aligning aethetically with the fashion photography industry
The design: placing a heavy emphasis on images, additional elements were used to establish a connection to fashion magazines, and high fashion editorial work. further elements added unique flair that appealed towards the main customer base: fellow creative individuals.

a t-shirt inspired by intaglio printmaking
the brief: create artist-merch inspired by a recent collection of intaglio prints. request a copy here. run an engagement campaign to drive sales.
The design: a simple yet evocative design stemming from a scan of the origional image plus incorporated text, adding additional interest. instagram posts drove engagement for the project, using an informal, artists-studio aesthetic.
a poster for what does it mean to be queer?
the brief: design a poster in italian and english to gather responses for a survey based around the concept: what does it mean to be queer?
The design: inspired by collage and a grunge, street-art aesthetic, the poster highlights key material and provides a strong call to action. The qr code is prominent while stylized, and the nature of the survey is well explained. Incorporating former survey responses into the poster background provides both detail and texture while also adding credibility and creating a sense of excitment and community.
a postcard for Too much about everything
the brief: work collaboratively with 2 other designers to design a postcard that would advertise the macalester college graduating studio art capstone exhibition “too much about everything.”
The design: meant to resemble a cyanotype print, the image contains the tools most commonly used by the graduating studio art majors. the title was selected to represent our unique position as artists and college graduates in the age of the Internet, and the collaged font style was intended to mirror this idea.
t-shirt for Springfest ‘23
The brief: design a limited edition t-shirt to be distributed at Macalester College’s annual spring music festival.
The design: primarily inspired by retro music festival t-shirt designs and modern tour merchandise of artists like harry styles
the result: t-shirts sold out 15 minutes after opening

the brief: design and publish a range of Instagram content, posters, and department signage for a variety of purposes.
the designs: emphasis was placed on emulating the culture of the department – work was made to feel informal and creative with an emphasis on technology.
